Worship

Word and Sacrament, week after week.

Thursday evening and Sunday morning, year-round. The liturgy does the heavy lifting. You can just come.

Sunday

9:00 AM

Sunday Divine Service

Holy Communion every other week. Coffee and refreshments follow. Livestreamed.

Thursday

6:00 PM

Thursday Evening Service

Holy Communion every other week. Coffee and refreshments follow.

What to expect

  • About an hour. Sunday usually runs a little longer when we celebrate the Lord’s Supper. Thursday is quieter and a bit shorter.
  • The liturgy. We follow the historic Divine Service. Hymns are announced. If you have never held a hymnal, sit near someone who has — they will help without fuss.
  • Children. Bring them. The noise of a baptized child is not a problem here. Sunday School, taught by Dave and Jan Krueger, resumes September 13.
  • Dress. Some wear a tie. Some come from the lake. Come as you are.
  • Coffee ministry. Refreshments follow every service — Sunday and Thursday. Hosts are needed. We also gather for lunch around town on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays.

Holy Communion

We celebrate the Lord’s Supper every other week, at both the Sunday 9:00 AM and Thursday 6:00 PM services, confessing that in, with, and under the bread and wine, Christ gives His true body and blood for the forgiveness of sins. In keeping with the practice of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, we ask visitors who wish to commune to speak with Pastor Miller before the service.

If you need Communion brought to you in the pew — or at home — tell an usher or call the office. Pastor will be happy to accommodate you.
